Vegetarian, as the word has spread even back in 1842 advanced uncles, who founded the British vegan society. Root vegetus – strong, cheerful, fresh, healthy, and homo vegetus means developed personality both spiritually and physically. At the time, vegetarianism was meant to be more of a moral point of view than from the usual way of eating.

Vegetarianism is the first and very important step towards a society of the future. Very much not poor and not stupid guys refused from meat consumption, such as: Plato, Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci, Newton, Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Franklin, Tolstoy, Shaw, Einstein, Steve jobs, Paul McCartney and other People with a capital letter. And do not be afraid, all except Paul is dead (:

Vegetarianism is good for health.

Meat eating increases the likelihood of cancer and cardiovascular diseases. The transition to a vegetarian diet in 90% of cases prevents the emergence and development of diseases of vessels and heart. [Journal of the American medical community, 1961]

The main reason of damage of meat products consists in the features of the human digestive tract, which is not adapted to the proper assimilation of meat. Carnivorous animals have intestines 3 times longer than the body, which contributes to the rapid excretion of toxins from a rapidly decaying meat. A herbivores intestine is long (6-10 times longer than the body), for the reason that food of plant origin decomposes much more slowly. The human intestine is arranged in the likeness of the herbivores, so when the body gets the meat, instead of fast removal from the body, it goes through a long cycle of digestion (as plant food) as a result of which all the toxins and harmful substances are assimilated on a level with nutrient. The accumulated toxins interfere with the normal functioning of the kidneys and contribute to the development of gout, rheumatism, arthritis, cancer, and other unpleasant things. Plus another uncomfortable fact: the meat immediately after slaughter, the meat is treated with nitrites (if this is not done, then after a few days of decomposition, the carcass will become gray-green color), and other substances, kind (read: evil) half of which are dangerous carcinogens. As a bonus to the pet food adds an impressive number of chemicals, such as those that reduce physical activity, but increases growth hormone.

People will avoid many cancer – reducing the consumption of dead flesh and increasing acceptance of various vegetables and cereals.
