Bouctot-Vagniez: "green" integration of a modern hotel in an old building in France Bashny.Net

Experts from the architectural Studio Chartier Corbasson Architectes have completed the expansion project of the hotel Bouctot-Vagniez, located in the building where are also housed the chamber of Commerce Chambre de Commerce et d'industrie de Picardie.



        

The programme of extension and renovation of a historic building in art Nouveau style, located in Amiens (France), includes a new office, meeting rooms, Banquet halls, auditoriums, living rooms and involves the integration of expressive fragments of the landscaping.



Translucent metal screen exterior on the South side of the building filters the bright sunlight and allocates the updated block against a brick facade.
