MindRider is a helmet-traffic lights for cyclists

A student at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Duco Arlene (Arlene Ducao) has developed and created the first instance of a Bicycle helmet MindRider with LEDs and the ability to "read minds" of the cyclist, which he wore.According to an initial idea, MindRider had to indicate turns left and right, brake light and the desire of the cyclist to increase speed. However, there is no cheap and practical technologies to read the signals from the human brain.

So helmet from Arlene, Ducao he can only show focused around the cyclist on the road or not. It reads EEG brain processes the information and displays the received data on the led display. If the cyclist focused on the road, the helmet will glow green, if you suddenly lose concentration and orientation, backlight MindRider will be red. So other road users will understand that it is better to stay away from this man and his vehicle. Also red light will appear on the MindRider in the moment when he decides to stop.
