Cliffs of Etretat

Tiny French commune of Etretat boasts one of the most beautiful coastlines in France, all thanks to the scenic coastal cliffs.

The amazing cliffs of Etretat are located on the so-called Limestone coast (Pas-de-Ko). Despite its small size, this French commune is quite a major tourist center of the country.

White cliffs, coupled with a fantastic natural arches form a picturesque and slightly unreal picture, which gives you peace and quiet.

Not for nothing Claude Monet came here to the coast to paint his eponymous painting.

Here's a quick peek into the blue abyss with a 70-meter height, or to descend one of the many mountain paths to relax in the sun near the warm azure waters under a huge, overhanging cliffs.

At any time of the day you can watch the amazing beauty of the scenery — the cliffs of Etretat are changing along with changing the angle of illumination, gradually sinking into the darkness of his own shadow.
