Created a new prototype of furniture, eating insects and mice
British scientists James auger (James Auger) and Jimmy Lazo (Jimmy Loizeau) invented furniture that may make electrical energy, taking insects, mice, and other bioorganisms. Invented for this special microbial fuel cell.
First invention — a wall clock-Flycatcher. The watch has all the familiar adhesive tape for catching flies. But, this tape is in contact with her her fly moves, fly describeda with a kind of a knife and falls directly in the bioreactor, where it already has microbes turning into electricity. The makers claim that the eight flies enough to get a watch worked for 12 days.
Another invention — a table-eater mice. It has a special hole in the leg, so as to provoke the mice to climb up to the top. On the top there is a hole that leads directly into the bioreactor from which the falling back, the mouse will not get out.
It is not clear however, why was the hole to do it on the table — probably to watch the process of digestion of mice is not very entertaining spectacle.
You can treat this furniture. The main thing is these devices are not switched on people...
