The same box from the previous post. More precisely, it is a trellis-low table with a mirror. It was convenient to consider themselves from all sides, but women had to make up standing, because of the inconvenient design. I realized such a thing that with furniture that was made closer to the 90s and in the 90s, I definitely do not want to work. Because it was made of cheap plywood with poor-quality coating. And during the work, a lot of shoals are opened, the furniture literally falls apart in the hands and it has to be collected, glued again. Of course, I’m not talking about all the furniture, there were quite expensive and high-quality copies, made for example in the Czech Republic, Poland or Yugoslavia. Well, I'm finally moving on to the restoration of furniture from the 40s and 50s, and soon I'll show you what a chic chest of pine trees I found for remodeling. #restoration of furniture #repainting #before and after #pre-and-aftermezina #remodelingkastarometel #remodeling #beforeafter

At first, you can’t say that in front of us a child’s chair, found by a master in a garbage can.

View this post on Instagram

Dumpster chair? Hey, everybody! Today I want to tell the story of the resuscitation of a child's chair found in a garbage dump. Approximately 9 years ago, my child and I found a wooden children’s chair of the Soviet heritage in the trash. The photo as it was not preserved. It fell apart in parts, but the parts themselves were strong and the varnish preserved the tree very well. Then I thought, He has to move on. My child also needed a chair. I had not done any restoration work before and had no experience in it, but there was a great desire to reanimate the chair. The path was difficult and thorny... the first thing I decided to do was cycle it? My grandfather gave me small hand-held cycles. Is this a very hard job I tell you?? So I made one and a half legs and realized that my hands and fingers were refusing to hold the cycles. The lacquer was on conscience and to tear off the cycles was very difficult. And then I thought, Shouldn't I work with a machine?! And oh miracle, I accelerated to my goal. When my chair was polished, skinned, glued and assembled, I started painting. To make him what he was before, I didn’t want to. So I played with paint and decor. At that time, I became interested in egg shells. And the choice of decor was not a question. I was pleased with the result. Our chair is 9 years old and has passed all the tests. Not only my son, but also many adults. It didn't loosen, it didn't peel, it didn't fall off. It's still in operation...? We had guests and we didn’t have enough seats. And in the fuss, I shout to the child: “Son, bring another chair...” the answer of my son made all the guests laugh – “Mom, what chair to carry, the one that we brought from the trash?” Here's the story about a scrub chair!? #interior items #eggshell #remodeling

And here's a chair and a chair from an old Romanian headset. After several stages of finishing in the form of upholstery with new fabric, improving armrests and painting in black, as well as processing with yacht varnish, this furniture is not recognized. Excellent solution for a cottage!

The life of these 2 chairs and one chair began long before I was born, in the late 70s. When there is an active struggle with the post-war housing crisis, the construction of standard panels is underway, when a 5-storey house is built in 15 days. At this time, happy citizens move from communal apartments and barracks to tiny Khrushchevki with low ceilings and narrow doorways. Such housing conditions dictate the need for compact and functional furniture. Objects of everyday life of Stalin times, no longer fit into the dimensions of new housing. In place comes Soviet minimalism: furniture on legs, folding tables, chairs with wooden armrests and a low back. The interior becomes concise, clearly delineated and functional. In the 80s came the era of cheap materials, which left behind a lot of lacquered furniture made of DSP, huge walls, linoleum. In the 90s, this diversity was complemented by paper wallpaper in a flower and Chinese toys on shelves. In the 21st century, technology invades our lives and actively fills everything around us. And this year, this chair and 2 FTO chairs are celebrating their 45th anniversary and their new life!? For a long time, the whole company, led by a Romanian sofa, migrated to the country veranda and finally waited for its renovation. Is it true that a Romanian sofa with its dilapidated upholstery and lacquered base was sentenced to burning? It burned very well and gave out a pair of varnishes into the air. Remember how warm and fun it was? But the chairs and chairs were lovingly upholstered with new fabric, armrests from the array are skinned, painted black and treated with yacht varnish. To say that I am happy with the result is not enough, I am delighted! Are these chairs ready to see a new world and live at least as long? For me, furniture with history is like a precious find. It adds uniqueness. When she showed the photo to her friend, she said, “Why restore this trash?” For whom is art, and for whom is art? Discard or restore?

Delightful. dresser.

View this post on Instagram

Transformation of the dresser ?? from our subscriber Matvey Sokolov. From the author: Hello! I want to share with you the final version of the reworking of the well-known Ikeev Rat. The dresser is 5 years old, and it has undergone many changes in that time, but now it seems that we have reached harmony (although I still want to remove its base and shorten the sidewalls, but this I will probably do sometime later) So, in the reworking of the rasta involved everything that God sent) the upper box is painted with artistic acrylic, the middle - with remnants of Latec paint for the walls, the lower - some cheap, very stinking enamel. The black lines are drawn with a permanent marker (and that was my mistake because the marker spreads slightly when absorbed into the untreated tree). I should have coated it with a layer of varnish first, and then taken for a marker. I brutally tore my legs away from a collapsed Soviet buffet found in the trash. The pens are black round - native, repainted. Cat handles with ali (they are very cool, heavy, cast iron). On top, everything is covered with remnants of 3v3 varnish for countertops, which had to be urgently used somewhere. Since I often meet such a question, I tell you at once: the legs are fixed to glue and screws to two wooden bars, which are attached to the sidewalls of the drawer with metal corners. On this construction, the grow has been standing confidently for about a year and withstands the onslaught of cats galloping on it, so everything turned out quite reliably)" #redesigned furniture #reworking your own hands #ikeahack #reworking #kea #comod #dressing #furniture #remakepainting #remakefurnitures #refurniture #refurbishing #furniturerefurnitures #newfurniture #newfurniture #newnewnewnewszznewoldoldoldoldmeel #refurbeli

A new life for an old stool? Believe me, this baby stool is from my childhood, it was once black and painted under a crest. She would have been thrown out long ago if I hadn't taken her. Replaced the seat, which has already stratified from time to time, now it is made of solid wood, skinned the legs from the old Painted and just painted everything. I wonder if my son's children's furniture, (Kikeiv set table + chair) will live to see his 32nd birthday. Replacement of chipboard facades with wooden ones, making legs and choosing original old pens, and then painting and decoupage. To tinker with such a rework will have more than one day, but the result is definitely worth it!

View this post on Instagram

For the company with Yasin closet, a completely new, but completely banal cabinet moved to our country house. I wouldn't be me if I hadn't taken on her transformation. “I took it”, of course, is strongly said, for it was my duty to invent a new image and spark the thought of remaking those who could bring this brilliant idea to life. This time in the role of performers were my husband (replacement of DSP facades on wooden, the manufacture of legs and the choice of original old pens, of which a huge number is stored in the men's workshop) and kindly agreed to another reworking of Lesia Patoka. And here's the result. #remodeling

Another stylish solution.

Ready? Will now live in the bedroom I had previously shown the entire history of this closet with numerous repaintings, but the feeling that everything was as it should have not appeared. And I try to stick to this feeling in everything, so the inner search continued. Finally, one day it dawned on me to swap it with a stand from my bedroom and paint it in the color of other furniture (also painted by myself, you can see in my profile). And this sweet feeling: the color puzzle has developed, everything is in its place, not only the bedroom has become cozy, but also from the corridor the view to the room has become better, adore? Paint is deep matte #PrimaleInspiro, holes in the walls from the former shelves were slapped with floral stencil, pens (ceramics) for a ridiculous 94 rubles ordered on wildberries. Maybe I'll have to varnish this friend later, but while I'm enjoying the matte? #colorful community #beautiful #prepainting #repainting #repainting #decorating things #redesigning furniture #repairing furniture #repairing furniture #repairing furniture #budget repair #dressing #decors #furnituredesign #furnituredecor #furniturepainting #repaintingstar furniture #repainting

You can choose one of the types of decoration and implement it yourself. Paint, make decoupage, cover with craquelure varnish, perform the application - it is up to you.

I had so much strength, energy and inspiration, a little uncomfortable with the belly. Was that my condition at the time? Behind the table, I decided to repaint the table, an old sewing machine, a shelf, well, do not lose the paint that is still left from the repair? in general, everything is in color I like how the room has freshened, I still need to finish the wall and hang the shelf and decor on a brick, but in general, it is gentle #butterflies in my heart #repairs#restoration#samovar#favorite

To rework was successful, first it is worth finding out what design chips have irrevocably sunk into oblivion, so as not to flood the interior with outdated solutions. I suggest you to familiarize yourself with the selection of anti-trends in the interior for 2020. Never do that!
