Director of Yahoo banned employees from working at home
President and chief Executive officer of the company "Whoo!" Marissa Mayer has banned employees of the company to work "at home". Several hundred employees now need to move their "home" offices nearest office "Whoo!", or to quit.
"We're going to ensure that our office was the best place to work, communication and collaboration will be of utmost importance, so we have to work closely. For this we need to be in the same office," — says the head of HR Jackie Resis.
"The best solutions come during the live communication, random meetings between workers and makeshift camps. The speed and quality often suffer when people work at home," he adds.
