The head office of Red Bull in Amsterdam
Design Studio Sid Lee Architecture worked on the interior design of the new headquarters of Red Bull. Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, the office covers an area of 875 sq. m. and is fully consistent with the spirit of the city. Interestingly, in the building, home to the headquarters, was once a shipyard.
The interior design reflects the philosophy of Red Bull, the office resembles two hemispheres of the human brain – mind is against intuition that art opposes industry, dark is contrasted with light, the angel fights the demon.
The main task of the designers was to combine the brutal simplicity of the industrial premises with a mystical invitation to action from Red Bull. A kind of split personality reminds us of the mountain cliffs on one side and a skate Park.
Triangular piles, as if ripped from the hull and moved here to create a semi-open space that is easily visible from all sides. There is nothing definitely, it's all in the perception.
