The English architect Milner designed, and the count of Liedekerke-Beaufort built this castle in 1866 and lived in it with his family until the end of the Second world war. Now destroyed about 40% of the structures of the castle, but he's still delightful, especially in the sunrise or sunset.

The castle was built in the seventeenth century by renowned architect Andre del Aqua and Guillaume de Beauplan for Hetman Stanislaw Koniecpolski. The castle has a square shape with sides of about one hundred meters, it was built of stone and brick. In the castle were often parades, balls, receptions. Everything about him was stylish and luxurious. In its time this castle was considered one of the best in Europe. Almost all of his contemporaries, though not aware of it, saw Pidhirtsi castle.
