3D printer printed the arm for a seven year old Ukrainian boy

The tragedy that happened in the family of Dmitry Kovalenko 3 years ago, maimed and forever changed his life. Even the shabby walls of the house where the child lives with grandmother and sister, the pain-soaked. Story blonde boy is a multitude of reasons and circumstances where the child is left to the mercy of fate.





Dima amputated fingers on his right hand after a fire. Misfortune happened on February 2, 2010, due to an oversight of his mother. For 3 years he made dozens of transactions. The stress experienced by the child could not talk. To revive Dima desire again to talk to the world, which became so violent that it took more than one year.





The story of Dmitry Kovalenko was out of the capital the owner of a 3D printer Timothy. Timothy was fascinated by the idea to create a robot hand for seven children. Prior to that their 3D printer was only used for printing jewelry. But compassion prevailed over the business.
Timothy contacted the prosthetist with the help of Skype. Then began delicately preparing for the first experiment in Ukraine.
