In one of the suburbs of Phoenix (Arizona) has opened a new bike store, designed by a local architectural office Debartolo Architects. A two-story wedge-shaped building with an area of about 500 square meters characterized by use of modern materials and concepts that simultaneously protect it from hot summer sun and direct the solar energy and light in a useful direction. So, the solar panels supply the shop with electricity, and panoramic Windows from low-e glass on the North side of the building provides the space with natural light. It is also worth noting that in the interior the architects used pre-owned materials wherever possible.
