The moonlight will illuminate the streets instead of lanterns

Researchers from Sweden have put forward an incredible idea which should help to solve the problem of street lighting in the dark. Instead of lanterns avenues and squares at night will illuminate the Moon, the surface of which is modified in a special way. As the authors of the idea, this idea will significantly reduce the energy consumption of entire continents, which eventually will lead to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

The aim of the project is almost complete getting rid of the lights on the planet's surface due to the increased reflection of sunlight from the surface of its satellite. It is planned that the reflected light in a greater number will be sent to the Ground. This will make the night sky so bright that the need for street lights simply disappear.

The staff of the analytical center Foreo calculated what the degree of brightness of the night sky, moving away from the lights completely, and some partially. Even a partial failure of the street lighting can substantially reduce electricity consumption, which in turn will reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide.

Gender Peros being CEO of Foreo, stressed that the project employees of the Corporation plan to attract the attention of a greater number of people to the problem of the probability of future energy collapse, as well as to the possibility of global environmental catastrophe, which he could trigger.

How exactly they intend to achieve greater reflectivity from the surface of the moon are not yet known. It is reported that one of the stages will be leveling the surface of the satellite. People to be able to adapt to change in light of the daily mode, the researchers intend to increase the brightness gradually over 30 years. This will make the transition to the light nights more discreet and to avoid sleep problems in the population.
