In Dubna will create engineering centers

In Dubna the conference, the agenda of which was the creation of two advanced engineering centers (IC): the center thin-film coatings and composite materials center. The creation of innovative objects is made possible thanks to a pilot program aimed at creation and development of a territorial segment of innovative developments in the field of nanotechnology and nuclear physics.

In the normal course of the conference a meeting was also held on the selection of the management company of the future facilities. Interest in the role of the co-founders expressed ready of firms which are resident companies of the SEZ "Dubna".

Both events were supervised by Alexander rat, who is in charge of member-Secretary of the Supervisory Board of the organization, and is also Director of NP "Dubna". It is known that this structure acts as a coordinator in the segment of nuclear physics and nanotechnology.

Also the event was attended by representatives from several research universities, enterprises, NPK Russia and specialists of relevant research institutes and STTC.

According to the plan, the first phase IC is scheduled to be launched in November this year. However, at the thematic meeting touched on issues not only related to the first phase. For example, several proposals were made regarding the second phase, which is scheduled for 2015.

In particular, it was proposed to integrate all of the equipment that will be used in the CI in a single electronic environment of virtual design. This will allow to create uniform information field with the results of testing, prototyping, detailed calculations and detailed analysis of future composite structures.

Also the stated intention to equip all the processes aimed at education and research in the University "Dubna", the latest engineering software. This allows to obtain qualitatively new composite materials, and unique thin film coatings, which will feature the practicality and sustainability.

The basis for the development will be the latest developments in the field of nanotechnology, as well as future discoveries in this region, which, as experts believe, will be made by specialists in the new centre.

Proposals for the establishment and development of the second phase of its materials-composites, will be accepted up until mid-June 2014. Appropriate letters will be sent to all the stakeholders of the cluster.

By that time, you must present all proposals for its thin-film coatings. It is planned that it will also be integrated into a single system together with the first center, prototyping center and the center of track membranes at the Laboratory of nuclear reactions, which is also created in the working area of the nanocenter "Dubna".
