When linseed oil is of no benefit
We all know about the benefits of Flaxseed oil: source of omega-3 fatty acids, the ideal ratio of omega-3 and omega-6... for Sale in shops and pharmacies, is cheap, taste really not very bitter. But many manage or to accustom themselves to eat it or to mask the bitterness. But the problem is that this bitterness is not the natural taste of the oil (the flax is not bitter), and rancidity (oxidation) of polyunsaturated fats oils. This oil is instantly oxidized in the air, especially when heated; it will oxidize too quickly, even if the bottle is to stand in the refrigerator. The same can be said of the capsules of linseed oil.
The number of peroxides (lipid oxidation products) it is very large. And in the body we get no omega-3 fats, and oxidized free radicals, providing a lot of negative reactions on the entire body. This oil will do far more harm than good.
If we use as a source of omega-3 flax — it is better as a ground (just before eating) beans. It does not replace it with the so-called flax cereal (flour), because they use the meal, i.e. residues obtained in the production of oil.
