A unique restaurant, where for $ 50 you will be allowed to eat in a dumpster
Thank God, on our tables have enough food, and we often think about how to lose weight is where to get food. In fact, in the world there is the problem of lack of supply and growing consumption, there are even institutions that are studying this issue. In the framework of my thesis John Treuhaft (John Treuhaft) decided to create a unique restaurant in Brooklyn called "Salvage Supperclub", which serves dishes made exclusively from ingredients found in the trash.
This exclusive club gives people the chance just 50 dollars to taste six dishes, each made with ingredients found in dumpsters
Chef Institute "Natural Gourmet Institute" create vegetarian dishes from overripe vegetables and fruits that were discarded grocery stores
Some of the products used in the cooking of food: stale bread, overripe apricots and bananas
People sit in a large dumpster that can accommodate 20 people, where they bring vegetarian dishes. The goal of this project was to show how much people underestimate little spoiled products
The setting is quite pleasant
Some of the dishes
Of course, your $ 50 will not go to buy food (since they are produced for free) and for rental of space, all the funds go to a non-profit organization
Also John Treuhaft gives valuable tips on how to efficiently use the products to throw away less spoiled food from the fridge
It "comes" restaurant, which is not permanently
The next meeting of the "club" is planned in August
P. S. And remember, only by changing their consumption — together we change the world! ©
