The world’s first salt electric car was developed by Nanoflowcell

The world’s first salt electric car was developed by Nanoflowcell from the Principality of Liechtenstein. It is called Quant e-Sportlimousine.

This unusual device with swinging doors such as "gull wings" uses an unusual type of fuel for movement - salt solution. The car accelerates to a speed of 100 km / h in just 2.8 seconds.

The concept was previously unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, where it was met with skepticism. Now it is a serial model and it can be found on the track.

The essence of the technology: an electrochemical reaction occurs when two liquids are mixed - solutions of metal salts and electrolyte. The current that arises in the fuel cell enters the storage device, the energy of which is then used by all four engines of the electric car.

Developers are not going to stop there. The company plans at least four more prototype models.
