Clothes made of biodegradable material from Freitag
Freitag — the company was established in Zurich (Switzerland) 5 years ago, which made a name for himself on the fact that altered tarps truck in stylish bags and backpacks. They announced that they are going to launch a line of clothing made from a new biodegradable Fabric material, which they have developed.
Brothers Daniel and Markus Freitag tried for several years to buy environmentally friendly clothing for their employees, but are unable to find anything suitable on the market. So they decided that it would be possible to develop our own fabrics and clothing. Their goal was to produce all the material no further than 2,500 km from Zurich (i.e. in Europe) and that clothing is naturally decomposed to 100% without causing harm to the environment.
After hiring a textile engineer, designer, and seamstress, and after several unsuccessful attempts with different fibers, weavers and manufacturers, the brothers were finally able to develop the necessary material. Fabric made of flax and hemp fibres produced in France, Holland and Belgium as well as modal fibers their Austrian beech. The thread is made in Slovenia, Italy and Tunisia; fabrics are made in Italy and of Portugal; and, finally, the clothes are made in Poland and Portugal. Due to the fact that even the smallest details are made of organic material clothes from Freitag will begin to decompose after 3 months in compost (mixture which is converted into fertilizer).

The first line of Fabric will include men's pants in three colors, men's and women's t-shirt with short sleeves, each in four colors and feminine dress in two colors. Clothing will be sold from October 31 2014 to own Freitag stores and online on the website. Retail prices have not been announced, but considering how much their bags, you can expect that prices are more likely to be comparable with the top brands.
