Apple-rice casserole — boring Breakfast for children


The recipe for a delicious and healthy Breakfast. Now your children every morning with pleasure will eat porridge and ask for supplements. And all because of boring rice turns into a pie similar to Apple pie!

"As a child I loved rice porridge with apples, but I know many kids and adults don't like her. So today let's prepare this marvelous casserole. Think your home is a bold dish like very much", – says the Maestro pastry arts Alexander Seleznev.

500 ml of milk
150 g rice
a pinch of salt
100 g raisins
3 eggs
100 g butter
100 g sugar
6 g of vanilla sugar
orange zest
2 apples
strawberry jam
honey (optional)

How to make Apple-rice casserole:

1. Cook rice porridge with milk. Don't forget to add salt. The finished pudding to cool for 20 minutes.

2. Raisins rinse thoroughly. If you are preparing a casserole for adults, you can pour raisins 1 tsp. rum.

3. Separate the yolks from the whites. To the yolks add the softened butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and orange zest, beat with a mixer. Add rice and raisins, mix well.

4. Proteins vzbit in a solid foam and gently introduce them to cereal, mix well.

5. Form for baking grease with butter, put on the bottom of the parchment. Spread rice mass and half of peeled apples cut out.

6. Bake in a preheated 220°C oven for 20 minutes.

7. After Apple-rice casserole is ready, fill core of apples strawberry jam. Sweet tooth can cover the casserole with a thin layer of honey.
