If you are planning to visit the unique island of Isla del Sol on lake Titicaca in Bolivia, you will most likely have to visit the town of Copacabana. There is quite a colorful eco Ecolodge del Lago, developed by specialists of the company Lak'a Uta Architecture. Its builders were inspired by the traditional architecture of the locals.

The building was built using mainly natural materials: stone, Adobe and straw. From its Windows offer beautiful views of the mirrored waters of lake Titicaca and Isla del Sol.

Eco house with a thatched roof boasts beautiful terraces and water heating system based on solar thermal collectors. Ecolodge del Lago is a 20-minute walk from the centre of Copacabana and across the road from a pebble beach on lake Titicaca.

The building stands on the hillside, offering its owners and guests a great opportunity to relax in nature. Local garden grown organic food: different kinds of potatoes, beans, corn, onions, dill and aromatic herbs.
