Tesla showed a prototype of robotic charging for electric cars

Perhaps some remember how in January of this year we wrote that Tesla is going to create robotic charging for their electric cars. In its final form, it will be connected to the vehicle as a mechanical snake. There were no details then. Today Tesla via Twitter showed a prototype of this charging station.

The charging station does look like a robotic mechanical snake, which deftly hovers on the car's power connector and "furiously" attaches itself to it. It should be recalled once again that this is only a reduced in size prototype and the final version of automatic charging may look very different and larger.



Earlier, Elon Musk, the owner of Tesla, said that the new charging will be universal and compatible with all cars of this company.
