Transportation of the future from Japanese engineers

Most of the inhabitants of the car of the future seems streamlined shape, with solar panels and preferably with flight capabilities. What about driving a vehicle shaped like a giant crab? The Future Robotics Technology Centre at the Chiba Institute of Technology in Japan is developing various prototypes that will revolutionize the concept of conventional transportation in the future. Their next development was the second version of the robot Halluc IIx (the first was introduced in 2007).

Cars of the future should make the most of limited space in crowded cities. Halluc IIx is a crab with eight legs that can turn and point the robot in any direction. Thanks to this design feature, the prototype is able to move on an uneven surface, and the presence of wheels helps to use it as a familiar car. published

P.S. And remember, just changing our consumption – together we change the world!
