Perfect Breakfast for a cold time of the year — oatmeal with persimmon, and turmeric.Turmeric is one of the most anti-inflammatory spices, start your morning with this cereal!
INGREDIENTS for 2 servings
How to prepare:
- 1 Cup of Hercules
- 4 tablespoons flax seeds
- 1 Cup coconut milk
- 2 medium persimmons
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- ½ Teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cm fresh ginger root
- Pinch of sea salt
- Honey, a few drops
Use a blender for sesivany coconut or almond milk, persimmon, ginger root, cinnamon, turmeric, salt.
In 2 small bowls, nasypte ½ Cup oats and 2 tablespoons of flax seed in each. Pour equal amount of mixture of persimmon and mix, leave for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
To enjoy warm: Pour the persimmon mixture into a small pan, heat over medium heat, add oats and Flaxseed, stir constantly until thick.
Cook on medium-low for 10-20 minutes (depending on desired texture of your oats)
