Unlike previous editions, the heroine of this calendar became not supermodels, and 13 influential women of all ages, including, for example, singer Patti Smith, artist Yoko Ono and athlete Serena Williams.

"When the representatives of Pirelli first came to me with this idea, saying that want the new calendar differed from the previous, I first said that it is hardly possible to change the approach so dramatically — told Annie Leibovitz.
