The photographer shot this image for 26 hours at an African watering hole
In this amazing picture photographer Stephen Wilkes (Stephen Wilkes) shows different animals that visited the watering hole in the Serengeti for 26 hours. The photo also displayed the time of day that starts with sunrise in the right corner of the frame.
This image became part of the project "Day and night" for which Wilkes creates a series of composite photos. In different places he has filmed for many hours, from dawn to dusk, and then joined the best shots into a single picture.
National Geographic reports that for this image, Wilkes spent 30 hours on the platform, suspended at a height of 5.5 metres above the ground in Seronera, Serengeti national Park, Tanzania.
While the photographer was shooting, the waterhole was visited by a large number of different animals, including elephants, hippos, zebras, wildebeest and meerkat.
Wilkes shoots in an average of 1,500 staff – about 20 gigabytes of data for each image from the project "Day and night". He then chooses the most appropriate and edits for many weeks. It combines interesting plots together to show the passage of time into a single composite image. published
