What I want to teach my daughters
We all teach our children something. Whether we like it or not. We teach sometimes useful and sometimes harmful things. Maybe they didn’t even want to do that.
It is very important to give children the knowledge that will make their life harmonious and clear, that will help them suffer less and correctly understand what is happening in the world and in their heart, that will help them understand people and build relationships in the family and in society.
Yesterday I read an article about the fact that world scientists who study the conditions for achieving success, came to the conclusion that the most important factors are personal qualities and discipline.
And this is not taught in any of the schools - neither in general education, nor in music, nor in art, nor in any other.
This is the knowledge that a person either has due to his past work, or he acquires in the environment in which he is most of the time.
Family, parents, loved ones - this is the environment that directly affects the child and the formation of character qualities in him, with the help of which he will communicate with this world.
There are important and secondary things to teach your children. I also divided all knowledge and skills into two groups. In fact, both of these groups are important. But the first is the foundation, the base, without which everything else makes no sense.
So, the most important and most valuable thing I would like to teach my daughters:
1. Give them the right philosophy of life so that they can see the world correctly.
I want them to know that relationships are worth more than money and any kind of benefit, that one should not sacrifice one’s happiness for one’s own convenience, but one’s comfort for the happiness of others. They know that the world will give them back what they have given them.
You have to use things and love people.
That in times of difficulties and trials, all responsibility for what is happening should be taken on yourself and only yourself. There is no point in blaming someone and looking for enemies in your environment.
What are the 6 most important enemies of man and, perhaps, the only ones - is envy, lust, anger, greed, illusion and madness. If you are fighting with someone in this life, it is with them.
I want to explain to them that behind other people’s negative emotions and bad deeds lies fear and ignorance, which can be combated through kindness and knowledge. But people do not accept knowledge without love from loved ones.
And that every man must be killed so that his heart will open to you and to the world like a flower.
There are no good and bad people, there are happy and unhappy.
There are many other and important things I want to explain to them.
2. I would like to give you an opportunity to understand the very complex art of relationships.
It becomes not so difficult when you understand what the relationship is built on and how it develops.
People are only interested in a few things: honesty or sincerity, judgment and, of course, respect.You can build a good relationship with almost anyone if you give people what they need.
It is very important that we are able to teach our children how to behave in conflict situations and how to get out of conflict. We are not perfect and conflict is an integral part of our lives. A properly resolved conflict makes it possible to bring relations to a completely new stage in relations and even improve them. But it's an art, and I certainly want my kids to own it.
The most important thing is that they understand that a lot depends on the relationship in their life and in any disputed situation it is very important to try to keep them.
3. I want them to know that loyalty is one of the most important qualities for a person.
Loyalty is the basis of self-respect. It is the foundation for the development of personal qualities and even to achieve life goals.
After all, loyalty is constancy and deepening in relationships, in work, in life position. It is very easy to start something, even easier to destroy, but to continue from year to year something is very difficult and not everyone is capable of it. But that’s what makes it possible to go deeper.
You can be faithful not only to people, but also to principles and your calling. And this is what helps to grow and develop as a person and as a specialist.
I want them to know that depth is a hundred times more expensive than something new.
4. Purity... I would like to teach them cleanliness in all areas of life.
There is cleanliness of the body, there is cleanliness of the house and what this cleanliness is, almost everyone knows.
There is also the purity of cooking. This means that the food is prepared from fresh products, it is not tried during cooking, clean all the excess and wash dirty dishes without waiting for the completion of the process, it is prepared with love and in a good mood. And, of course, they illuminate with prayers. If a woman is not clean in the kitchen, it is unlikely that her house will be full of guests.
Another very important thing is the purity of the relationship. When people do not lie to each other, they are not hypocrites and do not seek profit and gain. Everyone wants to do more than they expect. And without this purity, there will be no joy in communicating with loved ones.
These are the most important things I want to teach my kids. In fact, their essence is much deeper than I could describe them. I think you can write a series of articles on each of the above.
There are secondary skills that I would like my girls to learn. But they are also very important and every girl needs them.
1. Good cooking skills.
If a woman can cook tasty and healthy food, it will have a beneficial effect on family relations, and on relationships with anyone - with colleagues, friends, just acquaintances.
There are 2 almost insoluble problems in the world - hunger and loneliness. And a person who gets into a house where he is warm and friendly, where he was fed a delicious variety of food, will be filled and happy. He will want to come back to this house again and again.
Therefore, every woman should be able to cook. And even better, if she likes to cook, if it will be a creative and exciting process for her.
I want to “infect” my daughters. Why infect? Because it's communicated through the emotions that mother cooks with. What does that mean to her? The forced burden or joy of creativity and self-expression.
2. Literate and beautiful speech.
The ability to express your thoughts correctly, to say what you want to say, and not what happened. Speaking consistently and clearly is a very important art. Such a person is pleasant to listen to and want to communicate with him.
Beautiful sequential speech is a consequence of the fact that in a person’s mind everything is also clear and clear. And of course, you need to read and communicate a lot to develop and improve your speech.
3. Move gracefully and gently.
This is the next important skill for any girl. It should be nice to look at, you should want to look at it.
This can be achieved through dancing. But it is also very important that modesty be present in her movements. If there is modesty in the mind, then the movements of the girl will be modest and restrained.
4. Ability to play a musical instrument and sing.
These are not the most important skills and you can easily live in this world without them. But if a girl knows how to play and sing, it first makes her more attractive, and secondly, music often heals the soul in difficult times, in times of loss and loss, when the philosophy is clear and clear, and the heart can not accept the situation. At times like this, music can be very useful.
And when the heart sings with happiness, it is good to give it a chance to do it out loud.
