In the Khunzakh district of Dagestan, appears solar power plant

Khunzakh district was visited by the Director of the Dagestan branch of "RusHydro" Timur Gamzatov and experts from China, reported RIA "Dagestan" in the press service of the administration of the municipality. The main purpose of the visit was the installation of solar modules in the area of "Alart".

"This is a serious and necessary step for the development of energy Khunzakh district. The implementation of such projects is the backbone for the formation of new innovative sectors of our economy", – said the head of the district said Yusupov. According to Timur Gamzatov, construction of solar power plants is a way to reduce the electricity bills, reduce our dependence on constant growth of prices for communal services or just the ability to use electrical energy. In addition, the use of solar energy helps reduce carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere.

The benefits of building solar power plants in mountainous regions is obvious. Installing solar panels will greatly reduce losses that occur when transporting electricity over long distances in mountainous areas. In addition, for transportation of electricity over large distances of the desired network, the construction of which to outlying small settlements and farms may significantly increase the cost of electricity. In some mountainous areas to extend the electrical network is simply impossible technically. And generating electricity by diesel power plants, given the continual rise in fuel prices, it becomes unprofitable. In these circumstances the situation can save by solar energy.

Note that today in Dagestan, a lot of attention was given to renewable energy. All preconditions for this purpose in the region, as noted by experts, where the sun shines three hundred days a year, are already available. For example, on such indicator as the specific gross the advent of solar energy, Dagestan is one of the first places in the country. Caspian solar power plant – only the first swallow in alternative energy. Has already been allocated two sites in highland Khunzakh district of Dagestan, where it will build a new solar energy generation facilities with total installed capacity of 45 megawatts. published
