In Belarus, erecting the house, using the energy of the earth and the sun
The first energy-efficient house in Belarus, which will be used on the utility needs of geothermal and solar energy, the year will appear in Grodno. Now, as announced by the Belarusian State TV and Radio Company, the builders, experts who advise the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), is erecting an apartment building.
Part of the energy intended for heating water, a new home will be obtained directly from the ground with the help of a geothermal installation, which uses the temperature difference on the ground surface and at depth. To do this, the Belarusian engineers have designed 32 special thermopiles, which is now mounted at the base of the future high-rise buildings.
Conventional piles that hold the load of the whole house, spikes into the ground. In Grodno Energoprojekt they are immersed in the concrete - that way they will absorb heat under the house and around it. The pipes will collect heat from the ground and pass to special termonasosy - because of the constant temperature underground to + 4 ° C at the exit turn +55
.
"The usual home in the hot water consumes about 100 kW • h per square meter per year. This system will allow us to reduce [electricity consumption for heating] four times - 25-30 kW • h per square meter per year. This will save energy to heat the residents of 40 MW • h per year ", - said Alexander Grebenkov, head of the UNDP and the Global Environment Facility to improve the energy efficiency of residential buildings in Belarus
. The use of geothermal energy - not only the know-how in this building. The idea of engineers, electricity for the needs of the tenants will produce solar panels. On the roof of the building will install more than 300 graphic panels.
This home in Belarus officially considered experimental. Nevertheless thermopiles have been experienced trials and proven effective. It is expected that the first residents of the Grodno "smart house" will be able to wash their hands with water, warmed by geothermal power, already in 2017. Later the same energy-efficient buildings will appear in Minsk and Mogilev.
