Salvador Dali

The author of the image - an outstanding mid XX century photographer Philippe Halsman. The photo was taken in 1948 in New York. On the count of "three" assistants Halsman splashed a bucket of water and threw cats into the air. At the expense of "four" Dalí jumped and Halsman photographed. Then Halsman was removed in a dark room to show the film, as assistant wiped the floor and calmed cats. Work on the image lasted 6 hours continuously. Cats threw 28 times.
