Pudu - dwarf deer size of a small dog. The length of its body is only 80-90 cm, height - 30-35 cm. It weighs a baby 7-10 kg! Pudu unlike other deer: he has a short neck, small head and ears covered with thick hair. Cones are small and almost invisible, with no branches.

Earlier Pudu was widespread in Chile and western Argentina, but now because of the destruction, disappeared from everywhere and found only in some parts of Southern Chile and the island Chilos. Micro-deer grazing only at night and during the day hiding in the bush as hunters eat its tender meat a lot. In winter, when snow, Pudu often approach the villages in search of food, where they bite to death dogs. The deer of this type are listed in the International Red Book.
