Skolkovo resident produces heavy-duty springs

The company "NeoTeh" resident of Skolkovo cluster of energy efficient technologies, produces heavy-duty nanostructured springs with enhanced strength, durability and geometrical accuracy for various industries. As part of the Skolkovo resident will the development of technology used in the production of springs - namely, the creation of the technology of hot calibration of cylindrical workpieces to form a controlled nanoscale substructures.

The basis of the technology of production of springs put high-temperature thermomechanical treatment of metal, allowing it to create nano-sized structures. This significantly improves the strength characteristics of manufactured springs.

Heavy-duty springs can be used, in particular, in the production of road and rail transport, electric power plants and agricultural machinery.

Serial production of heavy-duty springs opened in June last year in Izhevsk.
