Fantastic discovery! How healthy food can affect your genes.

It's amazing how humanity for some 150 years progressed in the study of genes. And even more surprising that the number of genes in humans is much smaller than that of a simple animal. For example, humans have about 25,000 genes, while at their tiny water fleas 30000!

Researchers found that even though we can not influence the number of genes, we can change them without changing the very structure of DNA. One of the ways in which we can affect genes lies in the foods we eat.

Just imagine: an ordinary plug is not only transports food to the mouth, it can be used as a genetic switch to change your weight, blood pressure, blood cholesterol, slow the growth of cancer and even slow aging.

Scientists conducted an experiment. They have appointed a group of people a diet that consisted of plant foods. How can affect the genes of our diet that consists of fruits, vegetables and low amounts of fat?

1. This diet is able to turn off the genes for prostate cancer.

A group of 31 men with prostate cancer, would be appointed to such a diet, walks and meditation. After 3 months, the genes responsible for tumor growth, have significantly reduced their activity and decreased tumor themselves.

2. It slows down aging.

In the same group, they measured the activity of the enzyme produced by the telomerase gene, which are believed to be involved in slowing the aging process. And studies have shown that the aging process actually slowed.

3. This diet improves blood circulation and normalize weight.

Tykzhe been studied 63 people with heart disease who adhered to the diet of plant and compared with the same group of people who do not adhere to any diet. The second group was not observed changes in health, and those who adhered to the diet, blood pressure dropped by about 10% and it has been observed weight loss.

Just fantastic as healthy food affect the human genes. This is our future. To stay healthy and overcome a lot of diseases rather eat a lot of plant foods!
