If you have lying around the house a lot of old T-shirts, this does not mean that they should be thrown away. Of these, you can create a great mat that will delight you with its bright colors and patterns. And you get it for free, as all the materials you already have. You only need a little time and inspiration. So we start!
You will need:
5-10 of old T-shirts, depending on how big you want to make a rug; scissors; needle and thread; sewing machine (optional). Step 1: Cut
First you need to prepare a T-shirt - namely, to make of them something like yarn. Othmer every 5 cm from the bottom of T-shirts, mark the line with chalk or soap. Leave to 15 cm from sides intact. Now cut the t-shirt of the planned lines. Then turn the shirt and start to cut the pristine 15 cm diagonal, you have to obtain a continuous thread.
Step 2: Intertwining
Now you can begin to weave braid made from threads. 3 Take a thread of different colors and tie the end in a knot. Now whip normal braid. When the string will end, tie the other, and so on.
Step 3: curl
When the braid is fully ready, you need to twist the pad. Do it tight enough so that no holes.
Step 4: Sew
Now it's time to make a rug. This can be done with the sewing machine if you do not spit too thick. Or manually.
Voila! Beautiful carpet ready! It will decorate your hall and will always come to delight guests. This idea is sure to bring to life!
