The castle is located in the French department of Dordogne (Dordogne), it was built in the 13th - 14th centuries, and in addition to the rich history of remarkable by the fact that there were shooting the film "Joan of Arc" by Luc Besson Milla Jovovich in the title role (1999 g). It belongs to an individual lock, but open to the public for a small fee, for everyone. The owner, a grandfather of 90 years, lives in a small house on the grounds of the castle, and very glad that it goes to a lot of people. Unlike most museums, the castle is allowed to take photographs throughout. Generally, they do not allow fear that the flash of cameras will harm ancient tapestries, many of which are 500 years or more and which are the main decoration of the interiors of these buildings.

So, come to the castle by a single road, the only side where possible to come ...

Match closer. The impressive structure. Wooden pegs on the walls, this is probably the remains of the scenery from the filming and the rest of the nearly 700 years!

We go around the castle, and on the other hand, by its foot opened here this form. You can see three more similar structures. In this region, a lot of them.

We approximate one, by using the zoom. Too nice house! Quarreled with the king, a nobleman could sit in a home for years. For this pre-made food supplies, and to take such Stumm castle was virtually impossible. Only resorting to all sorts of tricks the king sometimes managed to lure the wrong vassal, so what would be done with him in the spirit of the times.

But this is the view from the castle walls. On this side you can never be afraid of attackers!

Also on the wall. At the bottom of the yard is visible, "home" church (left) and chief of the guard house (right).

Zaydёm inside. This is the room of guards, guard house, on our own.

This room for receiving guests.

Even hard to imagine, how much and what people went through the ladder. It can be seen, and this is a tapestry that usually cherish from flashbulbs.

A couple more pictures of the interiors. All the limit ascetic. Times were tough, not to jewelery.

Fireplace. Though now alight.

But the kitchen. Kitchen furniture and built-in appliances in working condition! Though now a fire away any deer or sheep.

And here is the plumbing fixtures. No you 'outhouse', tea is not the commoners lived! All comme il faut!

And how does And this drain? It's very simple! That's about.
