Travel through the dark side of humanity
Book Apocalipsis - a journey through the dark side of humanity, the chronicle of loss, grief, injustice, violence and death as a result of the war in Iraq, Congo, Darfur, Colombia, Afghanistan and Burma. Photographer Alvaro Ybarra Zavala took aim to bring the realities of these regions into our daily lives, and the reader is confronted with the fact that he describes as "an orgy of despair and blood as bezyhodnost and suffering that the human species can bring other people," he takes on a commitment to document these dark episodes of modern history to show that they are not fiction, but a reality. "People are shocked when they see," says Zavala. "They react emotionally, intellectually and morally. All that we create, we create ourselves. We create our own problems, and that we must solve them. I want this project to become part of our visual history that it remains in our collective memory and our collective consciousness. I hope it will serve to remind us that historical tragedies do not happen only at the behest of the great leaders who initiated the event, but also by the will of countless ordinary people who become involved in these events and become riven by relentless fury. " Alvaro book came out this year just three weeks ago. Unfortunately no comments for photos, but in general they do not need them.
