For the first time in the effectiveness of this recipe for sprouting cuttings, I was convinced about ten years ago, when I was still a teenager. I really liked the boy in the parallel class, my first innocent love. You have no idea how happy I was when he gave me a bouquet of white roses for my birthday, all made up of unopened delicate buds.

Every morning I changed the water in the vase, sprinkled the leaves every evening and carefully straightened the petals on the opening roses. But a few days later, the flowers began to wilt inexorably. And there was nothing I could do about it. “Mom, please throw away the roses, or my hand won’t rise!” I asked, almost crying, and gave her everything left of the once beautiful bouquet. My mother thought about something and left silently.

A month and a half passed, and my mother called me to the garden: “Let’s go and show something!” And she led me to a box of neat cuttings: "Please tell me where you want to plant your white roses?" I was like, “Mom, how did you do it?” She smiled proudly, “That’s my little secret!” and spoke about her experiment.

Mom's recipe for "Triple" for sprouting roses Attention! I hand over my mother's recipe for rose sprouting. Even the stunted rose will make a cutting with roots.

I prepare the solution as follows: for 1 tsp. ash I take a teaspoon of honey and 2 tsp. aloe juice, pour 120 ml of settled water and shake until the liquid becomes homogeneous. All right, the magic mix is ready! Then in this nutrient solution you need to lower the prepared cuttings so that they recover and come to life.

How to cook cuttings:
  1. We choose the preferred area of the stem. It should not be more than half stiff, look healthy and have live leaves.
  2. Leave 3 to 5 buds, because very short cuttings will not work. Cut on top evenly and closer to the upper kidney. At the bottom, we cut the stem thinly, retreating 1 cm from the lower kidney. A cut at an acute angle will maximize the area of the suction surface.
  3. At the bottom of the cutting, all the spines and leaves are removed, and the upper sheets are simply shortened. This will help to keep more moisture inside, and the future plant will not dry.

How to cook cuttings:
  1. Cuttings put in a convenient container and pour to the middle of the stem with a nutritional mixture. It usually takes half a day for the cuttings to gain strength.
  2. Before planting, the lower section is treated with a special means to activate rooting.
  3. After stimulation, the cuttings are planted in pots filled with soil that is rich in humus. The lower buds are covered with soil, and the leaves and upper buds remain free.
  4. Cuttings must be covered with a glass jar or a cropped plastic bottle and put on the root in a shaded place.
  5. The soil must periodically be moistened and ventilate the cuttings. Roses will take 1 to 2 months to root.
  6. The plant should be covered with a can before the first bud appears.
  7. When reliable roots start, cuttings can be planted on a flowerbed or put instead of a pot.

Years passed, the childhood love withered, and the roses still bloom and give me reverent memories! We hope that this method will help you grow a rose from cuttings at home. Good luck!
