Young Jerzy Bincicki, who played in “Znahar”, became popular far beyond Poland
Jerzy Bincicki Polish actor of theater and cinema, who managed to become famous far beyond the borders of his native country. Although in his youth, Jerzy assessed his acting talents very modestly. He even doubted he could go to theatre school. Reality showed that the guy greatly underestimated himself.
Jerzy Bincicki's Future Star Polish cinema It was born on September 6, 1937 in Katowice. Jerzy's father worked as an oven, so the boy from an early age was accustomed to work. To hover in the clouds and seriously dream high in that difficult time was almost impossible. Not surprisingly, after receiving a school certificate, Jerzy went to work in the factory.
However, life can throw surprises. Once in the circle of friends Binchitsky played a small performance. The few viewers saw what was so impressive that they strongly advised Jerzy to try himself in acting. It is not necessary to bury such talent in the ground.
Jerzy himself did not believe in his own strength. He was convinced that a guy from an ordinary family would never break into the theater or the cinema. But I took a risk, and it worked. The talented guy easily entered the Higher Theatre School of Krakow, Poland, which he successfully graduated in 1961.
Although Jerzy was immediately enrolled in the theater troupe of his hometown, but at first it was not necessary to talk about great success. It wasn’t until 1965, when Bincicki arrived at Krakow’s Old Theatre, that he really began to become recognizable. All thanks to the productions of “Tango” and “Divine Comedy”, in which Jerzy manifested himself from the best side.

The first small role in the movie Binchitsky received in 1963. Although his full debut is considered shooting in the military-historical film “Shield and Sword”. Hedgehog’s appearances in the films “Zero Meridian” and “Salt of the Black Earth” were also quite successful.
And the 1975 war film Nights and Days is considered by film critics to be the pinnacle of Jerzy Binchitsky’s career. In 1976, the film was even nominated for an Oscar. This notable success prompted many filmmakers to invite a talented actor to their projects. But Jerzy preferred theater.

And yet he did not regret that he agreed to shoot in the film “Healthy”. The film by Polish director Jerzy Hoffmann was released in 1981 and brought Jerzy Bincicki huge popularity. Only in the Soviet film distribution in 1983, this film was watched by more than 41 million viewers.
The acting skills of Jerzy Binchitsky were admired by both film critics and ordinary viewers. Specialists noted his strong and sensitive acting. Film lovers are happy to review the picture today, although four decades have passed since the release.

In 1987, Jerzy Bincicki also starred in Krzysztof Gruber’s TV film Chamber No. 6. The famous story of A. P. Chekhov was filmed, but the actions were transferred to Poland. The acting work of Jerzy, who played the main role, was noted very highly here.
In 1998, Jerzy Binchitsky headed the Old Theatre, where he worked for three decades. There were many ideas and grand plans, but all this was not destined to come true. A couple of months later, on October 2, 1998, the life of the great Polish actor was cut short by a sudden heart attack. Jerzy Bincicki was only 61 years old.
