Pumps on yeast in the oven Ingredients for the oven
  • 300 ml of water
  • 20 g pressed yeast (or 7 g dry)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 6 tbsp flour (of total)


Test ingredients
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric
  • 100 ml of vegetable oil
  • 100g sugar
  • 10g vanilla sugar
  • 550g flour
  • half-peel


Preparation
  1. Crush the yeast in the warm water and add sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves and then add 6 tablespoons of flour (of the total). Stir it. The dough should come out liquid like pancakes. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place for half an hour.





  2. Add sugar and vanilla sugar, vegetable oil and lemon peel. Stir it. In several approaches, add flour and turmeric (for yellow). Mix the dough (takes about 15 minutes). As a result, a sticky, soft and elastic dough should come out.





  3. Cover the dough with a towel and put it in a warm place for 1.5 hours.



  4. On a dusty flour table roll the dough (up to a thickness of 1 centimeter). With the help of round forms, cut out the workpiece from the test. You can bake a puff without filling, but Lilia Zvit advises cooking with halva. Put a piece of halva in the middle of the test and form a ball or bag. Put the blanks on a table dusted with flour at a distance from each other.





  5. Roast the pumps in vegetable oil until ready. Put ready-made pumpkins on a paper napkin to absorb excess fat.
