Today on the agenda is a simple recipe for a custard cake. I really like this cake. It is very similar to one large profitol. The top and bottom are two layers of custard dough, and in the middle is a stunningly delicate cream. Let's celebrate our loved ones and bake this cake together!

Test ingredients
  • 4 eggs
  • 100g flour
  • 100 ml of water
  • salt
  • 80g butter
  • 100 ml of milk


Cream ingredients
  • 600 ml of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 6g vanilla sugar
  • 200g butter
  • 60g cornstarch
  • 160g sugar
  • 20g cocoa
  • 30g powdered sugar


Preparation
  1. Custard dough only seems difficult to prepare. You really just need a little attention. In a small pot or soteinka, warm up the butter, adding salt, water and milk to it. As soon as the oil becomes liquid, you need to gently pour flour into the container. All this time, the fire should be small, and the mass should be constantly stirred.



  2. Has the dough started to stick to the container? This is a signal that you need to pour it into a bowl and start adding eggs. First, add one and mix it thoroughly. Also add three more eggs. Don't forget to mix the dough all the time.
  3. For baking cakes, you need two detachable forms. The dough was divided into two parts and poured into forms, prelaying them with baking paper. Baking cakes should be at a temperature of 200 degrees for half an hour, after which they should be completely cooled.



  4. While the cakes are baked and cooled, you can prepare the cream. In a container, mix 2 eggs, vanilla sugar and ordinary sugar. In a pan, heat 600 ml of milk and send half to the egg mixture. Mix milk and eggs with sugar carefully.



  5. Now pour this mass into the pan to the remaining milk. Bring the cream to a thick consistency on a slow fire, constantly stirring it with a wreath. The finished cream is cooled to room temperature and then sent to the refrigerator.
  6. Soften the butter and beat it with a blender to white. The oil will increase slightly in volume, after which it must be mixed with cream and whipped in a blender.



  7. The easiest thing to do is make a cake. Carefully lay the cream on the first custard crust, and put the second on top. Press the top a little and leave the cake in the fridge for a couple of hours. The finished dessert can be generously sprinkled with powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Bon appetit!
