Armenian Baking Ingredients for Test
- 500g milk
- 150g sugar
- 1,000g flour
- 180g butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 bag of dry yeast
- 25g vanilla sugar
Filling ingredients
- 100g butter
- 100g sugar
- 1/5 cup walnuts
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
Lubricant ingredients
- 3 tsp sugar
- 1 yolk
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
Preparation
- Pour the milk into the pot and warm it.
- Put the butter in the heated milk and paint it.
- Slightly beat the eggs, add the sugar sand and whip all together in a light foam.
- Add dry yeast to the sifted flour, stir evenly.
- Pour whipped eggs with sugar and milk with butter into the flour.
- Mix the light and plastic dough.
- Cover it with a towel so that it does not dry out and put it in a warm place.
- For filling, mix oil, sugar, turmeric and finely crushed (you can in a blender) nuts into a homogeneous mass.
- Once the dough fits, divide it into 2 parts and roll out of them thin rectangles.
- Distribute half the stuffing throughout the dough.
- Put the dough in the roulette.
- Cut the roll into pieces about 4 cm thick.
- Put the pieces of roulette on the bowl and grease them with a whipped mixture of yolk, sugar and vegetable oil.
- Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees 30-40 minutes.
- Armenian pastry nazuk ready. Bon appetit!
