How to cook carrots in a pan Ingredients
- 4 large carrots
- 50g prunes
- 50g raisins
- 50g dried
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 pinch of ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- salt
- black pepper
Preparation
- Peel the carrots and cut them with medium-thick mugs.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and fry carrots for 5 minutes.
- Soak for 10 minutes dried apricots and prunes. After that, drain the water and, if the dried fruits are large, cut them into pieces.
- Add dried fruits, sugar, honey, 1 glass of water to the carrots and stir to dissolve all the sugar. You can take a little less sugar, it all depends on your taste preferences.
- Bring to a boil, reduce the fire, cover the lid and carcasses for 1.5 hours.
- Remove the lid, add lemon juice, salti, pepperchi and cook for another 10 minutes.
