How to bake cakes with onions

Preparation
  1. Peel and cut small cubes onions.

  3. Stir the yeast in warm water, let stand for 5 minutes.
  4. Then add sifted flour, salt, sugar, roasted onions, olive oil. Onions are also added to the dough when cooking focaccia - a traditional Italian bread with a hearty filling and a crispy oily crust.

  5. Mix dough (you can do it in a bakery), let it stand and increase in volume by 2-3 times.


  6. Divide the dough into 5 parts. Make each balloon. Cover the film and let me stand for 10-15 minutes.
  7. Cut the red onion with half rings.


  8. Roll each ball into a cake about 1 cm thick.
  9. Squeeze the olive in the middle, put a half-ring of red onions around.


  10. Put the cakes on the pan. Let them stand a little longer and bake for 20 minutes in an oven heated to 220 degrees.
