Indian dresses - what is their strength?
The question may seem silly, but it’s hard to argue with it! You’ve probably seen at least one Indian film in your life. In addition to singing and dancing, you’ve probably noticed some real Indian costumes. You may have noticed how they look at you too. Even if you are not a special connoisseur of Indian culture - yes, there are such people, then it is almost impossible not to fascinate you, for example, with a real and colorful Indian sari! Why is this happening?
There's no answer. We will try to give you a few options and you will already choose yours.
The first reason is the color of the Indian sari. From incredibly rich red and green, orange and deep blue, to pastel and matte shades of white, cream and even black. Black Pastel – Where else will you find this color? Not only that, Indians are not afraid to mix colors that we usually never mix. For example, a red Indian sari can be decorated with a bright green print or blue embroidery. Why not? After all, in nature they see such combinations of colors, so they transfer them to clothes and their Indian jewelry - luxurious bracelets, bell earrings and, of course, Indian jewelry on the head, without which it is difficult to imagine a real Indian bride.
The second reason is the uniqueness of clothing. To us it seems terribly uncomfortable and incomprehensible, even a little strange. But in fact, the Indian sari is very practical, elegant and feminine.
The practicality is that it can be adjusted to yourself as you need. For example, if you want to hide your stomach – not a problem, drape the sari so that it is not visible. Are your hands upsetting you? No question, close them with the edge of the sari – its length allows you to play with it as you like!
The elegance lies in the fact that today there are even bilateral Indian sarees – this is when one side is the same. For example, you think red, and the second – purple. You can drape it, for example, so that the red color will lie to your face, and purple – at the waist and below. In this way, you will simply emphasize your advantages and hide your shortcomings.
You can talk about femininity as much as you like. But it is enough to remember that Aishwarya Rai became Miss World in the Indian sari.
Now the most pressing question is about price and cost. The fact is that any clothing has a huge range of prices depending on the brand, country of origin, materials and even on the time of purchase – seasonal sales have not been canceled. But in the case of the Indian sari, the situation is slightly different. The fact is that the price of an Indian sari does not vary as much as for ordinary clothes. Yes, there will be a scatter, perhaps even two orders of magnitude – that is, a hundred times, but the usual t-shirt of Ivanovo or Khmelnitsky production will cost cheaper than the brand several thousand times, and this is already three or more orders of magnitude. So it turns out that even in matters of price, the Indian sari is the exception to all the rules.
Therefore, if the question arises in my head “what is the power of the Indian sari”, then it is worth asking immediately – is there any analogues to this miracle in the world? And everything that has no analogues deserves the closest attention!
