In what shed underground millionaire lived fifteen years
A very interesting story happened recently in Britain. They found it. fancy-houseIn which for 15 years lived a local resident, listed as bankrupt.
The bank froze almost all of its financial assets and movable property. In the end, businessman Alan Yeomans had to move into a more modest dwelling, namely, an old barn. But let's take our time and find out in order.
In the early two thousandth years, during the global crisis, Alan realized that he could no longer do business and declared himself bankrupt. Thus, he could preserve at least a tiny remnant of former wealth and simply not die of hunger.
After the sale of the company and other property, the unsuccessful businessman could not even fully pay off his debts, and several more loans remained on him. Obviously, the tension in the family did not take long to wait and the wife did not stand the first. She left Alan alone with her problems.
Friends followed his wife. People close in the past no longer spoke to a man who by then had stopped changing his clothes and was constantly wearing the same garments. His home was an old cowboy, which Alan somehow managed to sheath with the cheapest materials he could find.
Over time, the failed businessman became something of a local fool. If earlier he was not talked to because of a sharp loss of status, now the man gave the impression of a sick vagrant living in a stable with a broken life and without any sane prospects.
Every year Alan Yeomans had to come to court to confirm his financial situation. He never missed it, but this time something went wrong. Feeling the wrong, the local authorities quickly came to him at the address, good, everyone knew the location of the inhabited green shed.
When they came closer, they saw a well-finished facade and the front door, which was the owner of the house. At the first request, he let the authorities into the house and they almost stunned from what they saw. They were met by a huge staircase, lined with a red carpet, with golden lines of threads. Only the most expensive and elite woods were used in the interior. Original famous paintings condemningly “looked” at uninvited guests.
Six chic bedrooms and a large good library with a decent collection of books were decorated with marble statues and antique chandeliers. The gym, guest rooms, swimming pool and even a place for the dance floor made the eyes of the arrivals expand more and more. As you know, Alan did not invite guests, it turns out that the dance lover loved to relax alone in rhythmic movements to his favorite music track.
But the greatest interest for the organs was a rather large picture hiding a secret passageway into a covered garden nearby. In it, Alan grew various forbidden plants, the implementation of which brought him fabulous wealth.
It is not worth long to guess what happened to the mountain gardener later, but you can not joke with the law in Britain. Obviously, now its walls will change somewhat in size, and their decoration will not be such a noble origin. But it is worth giving credit to this man: having such wealth, he never talked and showed his home to anyone.
You could say it was the weirdest self-isolation you could think of. After all, in fact, the man sacrificed human communication and his own safety in order to live in a luxury house. Was it worth it? We think, of course not. However, there is something to think about in this story. What do you think, our favorite reader?
