He also paid her a small amount once a year. Cynthia took her son with her. John married Yoko Ono, who bore him a son.



Together, the happy couple lived for more than ten years. And they probably would have been together even longer had it not been for the tragic death of John Lennon in 1980 from a bullet that was awarded to him by an angry fan. I don't know if Yoko Ono really loved Lennon as much. But for him, she was a loyal friend and soul mate. As Lennon said, “We are one soul in two bodies.”
