Psychosomatic sciatica: the more guilt, the more the pain

Liz Burbo: as evidenced by the sciatica

A physical lock

Sciatica is the inflammation of the sciatic nerve, the longest nerve in the human body. This nerve starts in the lumbar spine, runs through the buttock, hip, thigh and ends in the foot. Sciatica begins acutely, with severe pain in some part of the sciatic nerve.

Emotional blocks

From sciatica usually suffers one who is not sure of his future or experiencing unconscious fear of losing money or some material goods. I used the word "unconscious"because my experience is that sciatica often occurs in people who are in need of nothing, but very grieved at the loss of what they have.

Thus, the roots of this problem are at the level of "have". People are not aware of it, because he thinks that it is not tied to material goods. If he felt tied to them, it would cause a sense of guilt and shame, because he inspired that love for the material peculiar only rude, soulless people. Pain in the sciatic nerve also tells about the resentment, pent-up aggression and unwillingness to accept an idea or person — all in the same material.

Mental lock

Your body tells you that you hurt yourself to their way of thinking. What are you being punished? The more guilt, the more the pain. First you have to realize that attached to material things, then give yourself the right to this attachment. Admit that you are afraid to lose those benefits. If you can't take the risk, because it is afraid of losing accumulated, you have to admit that you have reached the limit of their capabilities, and make a decision again to move to action as soon as possible.

In addition, you don't have to think that the love of earthly goods flawed or disgusting. In fact, it is quite natural and common to all people. When you have confidence in your ability to create and receive what you need, you get rid of the fear of losing accumulated and can afford to love the material, yet not being attached to it. True forgiveness will allow you to be more tolerant of the ideas and characters of others. You will no longer feel that you have someone to obey. published
