Unloading and releasing parts of the body: The back of the headExercises to stretch and unload the back of the head are effective for redistributing tension in the bones and redistributing muscle tone throughout the body.
1. Sit down at the table, lean on it with both elbows, forearms and hands stretched up, palms facing the face and in the fingers partially overlap each other. Now put your face on the palms that will bend back.
The forehead should lie on the fingers, and the eyes are completely covered with the lower parts of the palms. And even with your eyes open, you shouldn't see anything. Relax, open your eyes and look into the darkness.
2. Raise your head, look directly at the wall in front of you. Mark a certain point and
Turn your eyes around herd. Repeat this several times, gradually increasing the diameter of the circle. Watch what changes in the process.
3. You may have noticed that your head is moving behind your eyes. Without stopping the movement, shift your attention to the tip of the nose, which performs a similar circular motion.
To facilitate observation, imagine a beam going from the tip of the nose to the wall, or rather a circle around the selected point.
4. Change the direction of movement and several times “bypass” the eyes around the point.
Then rest in the initial position - face in the palms.
5. Look again at the selected point on the wall. Take a look at it and, despite this, perform a circular movement of the head clockwise. Thus, the tip of the nose with the help of a beam will “draw” a circle on the wall.
Is the movement going on differently now than before? What is it - uniform or angular? Is breathing free?6. Make another change to the movement. Fix now with the help of a “beam” nose at the selected point. Because of this, you consciously fix your head. Perform the same circular movements with your eyes. What's changed now?
7. Now close your eyes and make circular movements with your nose.Did something change again? What's in the movement now?
8. Rest by putting your face back on your palm. Look into the darkness.
9. Raise your head and start circular nose movements. First, “draw” a small circle, moving clockwise, then increase the diameter and simultaneously move “right”.
So, you perform circular movements with the tip of your nose, and each new circle has a larger diameter and is located to the right. Turn your head until it is uncomfortable. Then change direction and lead the head to the left with simultaneous circular movements of the tip of the nose counterclockwise.
10. Rest - face in the palms.
11. Going to perform a new task, remove your elbows from the table and fix them on the case without changing the position of your hands. Repeat the combination of circular movements of the tip of the nose with the rotation of the head in the already known order (as in paragraph 9). Note that now the entire upper part of the body participates in the movement.
However, the cervical spine is stabilized and therefore thoroughly unloaded.
12. Rest in the same position. Has this position become more comfortable? Has the field in front of your eyes become darker? Does the back of your head feel freer?
13. Finally, do the initial exercises. Go around several times with a look around the selected point on the wall, then “draw” the circle several times with your nose. Notice the difference in sensations compared to the first performance of these movements and how freely the head can now move. published
P.S. And remember, just by changing your consciousness – together we change the world!
