Arconic created the concept of eco-skyscraper height of 5 km

American engineering company Arconic developed the concept of the future, including printed on a 3D printer kilometer skyscrapers, unmanned flying cars, teleportation and ubiquitous augmented reality. Inspiration the developers I learned not only the latest achievements and trends in science and technology, but also from the famous cartoon series "the Jetsons", which is set in the 2060 years.

One of the main elements of the futuristic concept of the steel house of the future: the designers presented a model of a skyscraper, constructed from innovative materials, some of which have not even produced. Thus, the facade of a giant building with a height of almost five kilometers will be covered with a special material that will absorb smog and other pollutants from the ambient air.

The "protective shell" of the skyscraper has been called EcoClean and will work through the interaction of sunlight and water vapor. The result will be to create connections that can capture and destroy dirty molecules, leaving them on the outside of the material, which then will be washed off by rain in a special cleaning channels.

According to engineers Arconic, 1000 square meters of such coatings are efficient air purification comparable to a fleet of 80 trees. Most building elements will be manufactured through 3D printing. The development of technologies of three-dimensional prototyping allows to create architectural designs unique shapes and almost unlimited height.

The building will have a number of interesting innovations, one of which will be Windows that can quickly be transformed into a balcony. Interestingly, this technology is patented today called Bloomframe:

In addition to eco-friendly "smart" skyscraper, the company Isops presented and other attributes of the Metropolitan areas of the mid-21st century, most of which, again, made using 3D printers.

This passenger taxi-drones, and unmanned cars and supersonic aircraft with improved aerodynamics and ultralight composite materials, and many other things that will be commonplace in 40 years. published
