Christmas Is Coming! Make a generous pudding according to the old Athonite recipe!

According to ancient tradition, on the eve of the Nativity of Christ (and Baptism) decided to cook and eat Christmas pudding (Koleva, sochivo) — boiled wheat, sweetened with honey or sugar. The roots of the tradition stretch back to Byzantium and on mount Athos and is now revered her so much.

Cooking
