Levitating speaker of LG company
It seems that LG does not like to do surprises. Or doesn't want her products lost the competition. The company has already announced a number of new products that is going to show at the consumer electronics show (CES) in January 2017, including five smart phones and a few 4K monitors.
Maybe she still has a trick up his sleeve. Like a small levitating speaker, which will also be presented at the exhibition.
Model PJ9 distribute the sound in all directions, and its design is inspired by the "turbocharged" aircraft. A subwoofer built into the base, where also are located electromagnets, which provides the above-mentioned levitation. Dual Passive Radiator allows you to deliver rich MIDs and crisp high.
The speaker itself is waterproof (i.e. it can be used on the street in the rain) and runs on a battery, which, as promised by the manufacturers, can work 10 hours on a single charge. And perhaps the best thing about this gadget is that it slowly decreases to the base, when the energy comes to an end, and again replenishes the stock.
The principles of acoustic levitation used by scientists from the University of Bristol to create gloves GauntLev — with the help of sound waves they pick up particles in the air and make them float. published
