Traditional fishing for carp in the Czech Republic

Near the village of Belcice, Czech Republic, on a lake in South Bohemia was the traditional fishing for carp. Fishermen use ancient methods of fishing, they drive the fish big sticks. Then the fish are sorted by size and store live before Christmas, because carp is a traditional dish in this feast on the table by the Czechs. Pictures were made by photographer David W.
